Robotics for Kids: Learn How To Build A Smart Hand Wash System For Free

Welcome, all the Robotics Enthusiasts!

In our second blog of the robotics for kids series, we will talk about the most interesting robotics-based project of the Smart Hand Wash System for free.

So, buckle up & gain basic knowledge about our real-life project!

What Is The Main Purpose Of A Smart Hand Wash System?

The main purpose of using a Smart Hand Wash System is that it avoids wastage of water. By using the robotics-based project of a smart hand wash system, the students can save a large amount of water. The water generally gets wasted due to human negligence. Human negligence includes when someone forgets to turn off the water tap, and the water gets wasted. The smart hand wash system uses an IR sensor that detects the motion of the object. So, when a person puts his hand under the water tap, the IR sensor detects its motion, and the tap starts the water flow downwards.

When the person removes his hand from under the tap, the water flow stops. This way, only the required amount of water is made available to the person, and the rest of the water gets saved for later use.
